Packaging Operator, 1st shift
Essential Functions:
Clean all areas and equipment to be used. Maintain work area in a clean, neat and orderly manner at all times. Assist the Packaging Room Supervisor in verifying that all necessary processing components are present and released. Assist Line Leader in the proper assembly of equipment. Inspect assembled machines to assure that all manufacturer and NPI specifications are met. Perform various duties assigned by Line Leader. Assure that all operations are carried out in accordance with cGMPs and Standard Operating Procedures. Complete all documentation correctly and in a timely manner. Perform periodic inspections of packaged product to assure that all specifications are met. Assure that products leaving the department are stored in the proper areas, and that all materials are properly labeled. Assist in assuring 100% accountability for components, product and labeling materials. Assist the Packaging Line Leader in other areas as directed.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with good mathematical and counting skills. Fluency in the English language is required. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Encapsulation/Compression Operator, 1st shift
Essential Functions:
The Compression/Encapsulation Machine Operator assists the team leader in ensuring that all compression equipment meets or exceeds acceptable operating standards as part of the process of generating quality finished solid dosage forms; troubleshoots for problems and run press efficiently; cleans areas and equipment as deemed necessary; assembles/disassembles equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures; completes appropriate logbooks prior to requesting Quality Assurance clearance; verifies that all necessary materials are correct, present, and that containers are free from dust and debris prior to introduction into process area; performs compression duties in accordance with procedures to assure that quality products which meet established specifications are generated; performs in-process testing as required in the master instructions and documents results appropriately; monitors the product being processed to assure compliance with all in-process specifications; labels all containers appropriately; weighs and documents weights of completed product and rejected material; assures that products leaving the department are transferred to the proper areas; performs all assignments in accordance with master instructions, cGMPs and Standard Operating Procedures; assists the Section Leader in other areas as directed.

Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED with at least one year of experience in a production environment. Fluency in the English language is required. Mechanical skill preferred. Required to regularly stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle or feel product materials. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform required repetitive lifting tasks. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
