Dental - CIGNA Eligibility - 1st of the month following 90 days of employment. Employees may select HMO or PPO coverage.
Short Term Disability - CIGNA
Eligibility - 1st of the month following 90 days of employment. Employer-paid benefit. Employee may receive up to 60% of their salary after 14 days away from work due to sickness or a non-work related accident. Maximum benefit duration is 26 weeks.
Life Insurance and AD&D - CIGNA
Eligibility: 1st of the month following 90 days of employment. Employer-paid benefit. NPI offers $10,000 Life Insurance and $10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage to all employees.
Voluntary Life Insurance - CIGNA
Eligibility: 1st of the month following 90 days of employment. Employee paid. Life insurance is available in $10,000 increments to a maximum of $500,000; not to exceed 5x annual salary. Voluntary spousal life insurance is available in $5,000 increments, not to exceed 50% of employee's enhanced coverage. Dependent child coverage is also available at $1,000; $2,000; $4,000; $5,000 or $10,000.
Long Term Disability - CIGNA
Eligibility: 1st of the month following 90 days of employment. Employee paid. Employees may receive monthly benefits equal to 60% of their salary (up to $5,000) in case of a medical disability lasting more than 180 days.
Worker's Compensation
Eligibility: 1st day of employment. NPI bears the entire cost of medical care in the event of a job related death, injury or occupational illness.
401(k) Plan - American Funds Eligibility: 1st quarter following 90 days of employment. Employees may contribute 1% to 15% of their salaries, subject to the maximum amount allowed by law each year. The company will match up to 50% of the first 4% of the employee's salary deferral. NPI has approximately 15 investment options for employees to choose from.
Section 125 - Premium Only Pay
Employee's medical, dental, life and disability premiums are deducted from their wages before payroll taxes are calculated. This results in lower Federal income and FICA taxes and increased take-home pay.

Vacation Employees accrue vacation at the rate of 3.33 hours per month during the first year of service, based on eight hours worked per day. From the 2nd to the 5th year, employees accrue vacation at the rate of 6.66 hours per month of a total of 80 hours per year.
